A) Compounder
(1) Pilot scale twin-screw extruder designed to produce plastic compounds in granule form. Capacity of 5 kg/h.
– Extrusion screw L/D = 40, where D = 20mm
– screw speed up to 600 RPM
– 2,5mm die for singular strand.
(2) Gravimetric Feeding System (kg/h). Capacity of 30 kg.
(3) cool water bath with pelletizer.

B) Lab-scale compounder
Twin-screw extruder (D = 25mm). equipped with 4 heating zones (including nozzle), cool-water bath and knife-shredder. Nozzle die for single filament with 2,5mm and 1,5mm available.
Throughput = 0,5 – 2 kg/h
