BioBased Circular processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:
– Email address
– IP address
– Location data
– Information about your activities on our website
– Internet browser and device type
– Account information such as name, address, and telephone number, entered into the Biobased Circular infrastructure database
Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without this consent, please contact us at info@biobasedcircular.com, and we will delete this information. For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?
BioBased Circular processes your personal data for the following purposes:
– Sending our newsletter
– Sending invitations to meetings
– Offering registered database users the option to contact us directly via the database contact form and, if applicable, a telephone number
Based on: consent. The customer has registered for the newsletter and confirmed this registration. If you have registered for the newsletter and/or the database, you can unsubscribe at any time. You can unsubscribe at the bottom of every newsletter you receive.
Automated decision-making
BioBased Circular does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that could have (significant) consequences for individuals. These are decisions made by computer programs or systems, without the intervention of a human being (for example, a BioBased Circular employee). How long we retain personal data
BioBased Circular does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.
Sharing personal data with third parties
BioBased Circular only provides data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
Accessing, modifying, or deleting data
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by BioBased Circular, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization you specify. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, or transfer of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, to info@biobasedcircular.com. To verify that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, please redact your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks. BioBased Circular would also like to inform you that you have the right to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
